This Desktop Support Lead role includes maintaining the day to day operation and triage of requests coming into the help desk (maintaining data security and continuity, troubleshooting hardware, providing desktop and VoIP support), maintaining inventory records of all equipment and licenses, prioritizing incoming requests, and serving as Tier 2 support.
Desktop Support Lead candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field along with network knowledge of TCP/IP, switches, routers, and firewalls, and a working knowledge of VPN, WAN, and LAN connectivity. Experience providing desktop support for MS Office, Adobe Suite, and Windows OS, virus/malware removal, email troubleshooting, and software, hardware and peripheral maintenance. A working knowledge of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Windows Server 2012 and 2016, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Kali, Android/iOS, VMware, Oracle Virtualbox, and Microsoft Hyper-V also required.
