Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Business Analyst opening! This temp to hire opening offers full time hours. This is an onsite position that may offer WFH flexibility when able.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of new products, features, and enhancements by:
- Partnering with project managers, business partners, and software developers in both the planning and implementation phases of projects
- Translating high-level end-user enhancement requirements into detailed illustration system specifications, UI mockups, and output samples
- Developing, reviewing, & contributing to the documentation and execution of detailed test plans to ensure the illustration system’s UI, calculated values, and client-facing outputs align with product requirements, operational procedures, and NAIC illustration regulations
- Developing or employing Excel based tools to verify illustration calculations and/or data passed to/from application interfaces (APIs)
- Identifying, reporting, and reconciling system defects on a timely basis
Candidates for this role must have:
- Experience in the financial services industry as a business analyst and/or quality assurance tester.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, & organizational skills
- Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience writing business systems requirements and performing detailed quality assurance testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Math, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent business experience
