Job Description

Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist opening!  This long term opportunity is expected to last up to 6 months with a chance for extension or even perm hire. Hours are 1st shift, 6a-230p, Mon-Fri.  Pay is $28.00-32.00/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • set up and run jobs on CNC equipment (lathe and/or milling machines)
  • install tools and enter tool offset data into control registers
  • load programs from the computer
  • inspect first piece using measuring instruments and make adjustments in order to comply w/ specs
  • run jobs as an operator to ensure proper performance

Candidates for this role must have a HS diploma/GED and at least 5 years machine experience in job shop or production setting. The ability to interpret drawings, plan machining strategies, and use measuring tools is needed.
