Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Food Scientist opening! This direct hire, career opportunity offers the chance for an evolving Easton area food manufacturing company. Hours are full time, 1st shift and the salary is $65,000/annually.
Responsibilities:
- lead product development projects across a food portfolio
- work w/ sales, operations, QA and procurement to bring new products to market and improve existing formulations
- translate customer data into actionable trials including formulation development, process parameters, and production execution
- develop, review, and maintain technical documentation including formulas, specifications, nutritional information, and regulatory data
- ensure product compliance w/ FDA, FMSA, etc.
- provide hands on tech support in the manufacturing facility
- evaluate new ingredients
- maintain accurate records
Candidates for this role must have a Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a similar field. At least 3 years' experience in product development in a food manufacturing setting is required. MS Office skills are also needed.
