Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for Industrial Refrigeration Technician openings! 

Our client, Travaglini, is looking for experienced techs to join their team. Travaglini, a 72 year old Italian company that is world-renowned for their cutting edge technology in industrial food equipment, is making their US debut this year. Travaglini's core businesses include equipment used in the smoking, fermenting, and drying of meat, fish, and cheese. Manufacturers the world over utilize their equipment, and they are establishing their first US based service facility in order to directly support clients in the US market.

This direct hire opportunity offers full time hours and a competitive pay & benefits package. Pay will be based on experience. Hours will vary based on business needs - some nights, weekends and overnight travel will be required. Some international travel will also be required. 

Responsibilities:

• Repair and install specialty food drying, smoking, and fermenting equipment on-site at client locations

Candidates must have:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent; HVAC or Refrigeration Trade school completion or equivalent
• EPA Core + Level 2 minimum
• 5+ years working in industrial refrigeration
• The ability to read and interpret schematics involving integrated systems of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and plumbing
• Expert knowledge of refrigerant management usage; EPA Clean Air Act, understanding of various refrigerants and usage, etc.
• Intermediate knowledge of computerized maintenance field service management systems
• Experience in the usage of SCADA systems
• Oxy/acetylene welding experience
• The ability to lift/lower/climb ladders and walk on roofs
• A clear driving record is needed as you will be required to drive a service van
• Experience working for a food processing company is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of programming PLC languages: AWL / SCL / Codesys is preferred
