Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Senior Designer opening! This career opportunity offers full time hours and a salary up to $80,000 based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- determine product design intent by clarifying objectives, understanding product concept, and overall product performance criteria
- prepare designs and related drawings by optimizing 3D CAD tools for complete models, layouts, new and revised assemblies/components
- communicate and modify design concepts by making presentations, obtaining inputs, and revising designs
- complete documentation including design models, assembly drawings, component details and specs
- assist engineering management with implementing engineering change orders
- research alternatives, create visuals, draft decision matrices, and participate in evaluation of alternatives
- provide direction to the model shop for the fabrication and assembly of prototypes and test setups
Candidates for this role must have 5+ years experience in product design including experience in new product development. Proficiency in 3D CAD Solid Modeling and AutoCAD Inventor is needed. Knowledge of fabrication and component manufacturing is needed.
