Job Description

Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Transformer Assembler opening! This long term opportunity offers 2nd shift hours - 3p-130a, Mon-Thurs. Pay is $17.50-18.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • wrap insulation around coil and secure w/ tape
  • drive wedges between coil and core using a mallet
  • assemble support structure, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or cabinet panels
  • fabricate coils and assemble component parts to build transformers according to blueprints
  • clean and ink stamp part numbers/date code

Candidates for this role must have a high school diploma/GED and at least three months' experience in assembly. The ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic math is needed.
